Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
Begin by chopping the onion and mincing the garlic. Clean and slice the mushrooms if not pre-sliced.
Step 2: Layer the Ingredients
In the crockpot, place the chicken breasts at the bottom. Add the chopped onion, sliced mushrooms, and minced garlic on top.
Step 3: Add Liquids and Seasoning
Pour in the chicken broth and add the heavy cream. Sprinkle the dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and pepper over the top.
Step 4: Cook
Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is tender and cooked through.
Step 5: Shred and Serve
Once cooked, shred the chicken with two forks directly in the crockpot and stir to combine with the creamy sauce. Serve over rice, pasta, or mashed potatoes for a complete meal.
